On 6th November, at the assembly room, Anqing Foreign Language School convened the tuition waiver issuing ceremony for impoverished students for whom we established cards in archives in 2016 in terms  of fee remission scheme and education subvention. In attendance were Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli, Vice Principal Yan Hongping, Vice President Liu Bing, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong, relevant personnel in charge of the financial aid as well as aid-receiving students. Four students have gotten the tuition waiver in this semester, each with an exemption of RMB 700 and RMB 2,800 in total.
By means of the keywords ‘Gratitude and Morality Cultivation’, President Madam Huang Wenli explained the significance of the national tuition& fee waiver on the basis of cherishing the state subsidy, appreciating solicitude& loving care from the state& society, observing law& discipline in addition to cultivating morality education.
In closing, President Madam Huang Wenli presented famous remarks by Madam Long Yingtai to aid-receiving students, quote, ‘Dear Child, I require you to study hard not because I want you to compare yourself with others in grades, but because I hope in the future you shall have the right to choose a meaningful and worthwhile job instead of just being forced to seek a livelihood. You will have your sense of accomplishment when you consider your job fulfilling. You will have dignity when your job ensures you plenty of time rather than depriving you of your private life. After all, it is your sense of achievement and honor that guarantees you pleasure’.
